Packing list for a week-long cycling trip
One well-stuffed bike bag, not a suitcase full of "just in case". What you actually bring for seven days of riding — room to move included.

After hundreds of guided trips we've got a feel for it: people pack too many clothes and too few spares. Here's our tried-and-tested list.
On the bike
- 2 bib shorts, 3 jerseys, 1 wind jacket, 1 light rain jacket, arm warmers, leg warmers, 1 pair of gloves + 1 longer pair for descents.
- 3–4 pairs of cycling socks, 1 cap under the helmet, clear and tinted lenses or glasses.
- Shoes + 1 spare set of cleats, a tool for your pedal system.
Spares (the real insurance)
- 2 inner tubes or a tubeless plug kit, tyre levers, mini-pump or CO2.
- Chain quick-link, multitool with chain breaker, a strip of insulating tape.
- Brake pads if your disc brakes are worn — we carry some too.
Off the bike
- Comfortable shoes, flip-flops, swimwear (many hotels have a pool).
- Sunscreen SPF 30+, lip balm, chamois cream.
- Universal charger + power bank; your bike computer and lights need power every evening.
Luggage travels in our van from hotel to hotel — so you always ride light. In doubt about one item? Leave it at home; we carry more spares on the road than you'd expect.
